On my way home from Minnesota last fall I checked my suitcase which contained 2 lovely jams made by my friend Erika. I almost had a heart attack when I heard my name being called over the PA and when I proceeded to the security counter as directed I was informed that there were 'suspicious' items in my bag and they needed me to unlock it. You guessed it- the suspicious items were the jams but fortunately all they did was test the outside for traces of what I can only assume was explosives. My jams made it home safely to Toronto and I was awfully glad I checked them!

Oh I know. And for the same reason you do. Stupid Seattle airport took away the jam I'd bought as a present for my mother.
