Did you find that while the jam was cooking, it made a lot of foam? I’ve never had such a foamy recipe. I’m processing four jars now, and I can’t wait to taste it with some brie on a slice of good bread.

Oh nooooo! I can’t believe I missed the drawing. Hmmm, well if you are the Doris or Jilly who lives in Philadelphia than I’m willing to offer a trade of a jar of blackberry jam I made last year for a jar of this! I know, it doesn’t compare. Poo. I’ll have to keep up with my blogs better so I don’t miss a give away like this again.

I’m conflicted about entering this one. I am not a fan of lavender and usually stay far away from it in food. But with the complexity of fig and the sharpness of lemon… it might work. I’m so curious. I’d love a chance to try it.
